The name Sattlerhof is a promise of top-level quality and outstanding experience. This promise is lived up to by every member of the Sattler family.
he organic cultivation of their 35-hectares of vineyards and their tireless search for improvement and perfection characterise the craft of the Sattler family of winemakers in Gamlitz, Styria. Their most important single-site vineyards Kranachberg, Pfarrweingarten, Kapellenweingarten, and Sernauberg are characterised by quartz or limestone, depending on the location. The low yields of their old vines on the steep slopes, their selective hand-picking of the grapes in small boxes, the gentle grape pressing, and sensitive handling during vinification result in authentic and long-lasting wines.
The Sattlerhof has been one of the best wineries in Styria for many years, most recently ranked among the top 100 wineries in the world by the US magazine Wine & Spirits. 2021 will be the first respekt-certified vintage, by which time the winery will be a "respekt member in transition".
